George Osodi, is a freelance photographer based in London. He studied Business Administration at the Yaba College of Technology Lagos before working as a photographer for the Comet Newspaper between 1999-2002. He joined the Associated Press in 2002 till 2008.
George Osodi's photographs range between photojournalism, artistic documentary photography and activism. Osodi has covered many assignments for both local and international media, with his photographs published in many international and local media such as the "New York Times," "Time Magazine," Newsweek, the "Guardian of London," "The Telegraph," "USA Today," the "International Herald Tribune," Der Spiegel, Courrier International, VSD Paris, CNN, BBC Focus on Africa Magazine and many more. In 2004 He won first prize for the Fuji African Photojournalist of the year.

His sole exhibitions include "Paradise Lost", Centre for Contemporary Art Lagos, 2008, "Oil rich Niger Delta," Kulturkiken Skare , Haugesund Norway 2008, "Lagos Uncelebrated" Goethe institute Lagos 2007, "Living the Highlife" British Council, at Nimbus Art centre Lagos 2004, and "Niger Delta Chronicles" Nimbus Art Centre Lagos 2003.
